Therapy Rates
I currently operate as a private pay therapist and am not in-network with insurance. However, many PPO plans offer partial reimbursement for “out of network” providers. I am happy to provide a superbill (an itemized receipt) you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
I accept payment via Venmo, Zelle, or credit card at the time of each session.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
It’s completely normal to feel hesitant if past therapy didn’t feel helpful - or worse, left you feeling unseen. Every therapist has a different style, and sometimes it’s simply about finding the right fit. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, which means we’ll go at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you. And if you ever feel like my style isn’t the best match, I’ll support you in finding someone who is—because you deserve a therapist you feel safe with.

So many people feel this way, especially before the first session. You don’t have to come in with everything figured out or have the “right” words. It’s my job to guide the conversation, ask gentle questions, and create space for whatever comes up. Sometimes the session starts with, “I don’t know where to start” and that’s a perfectly good place to begin.

Finding the right therapist is a lot like dating—it can take time, and it’s normal to feel nervous about “what if this isn’t a match.” You deserve to feel safe, seen, and heard in therapy. If at any point you don’t feel that with me, you can absolutely tell me—I won’t take it personally. In fact, I’ll help you find a better fit by offering referrals or sharing information on different therapy approaches. The most important thing is that you feel supported, even if it’s not with me.

Not at all. Going to therapy doesn’t mean you’re broken—it means you’re human. Life is messy, and asking for support is a sign of strength, not weakness. Therapy is simply a space to explore your thoughts and feelings, gain clarity, and learn new ways to move through challenges. We all need that kind of space sometimes.
-
It’s okay to feel nervous about being vulnerable. We’ll go at your pace—you never have to share more than you’re ready to. My job isn’t to push you; it’s to sit alongside you, create a sense of safety, and hold space for your story as it unfolds naturally.

Therapy is a financial and emotional investment and that’s not something I take lightly. Sessions are $175 for individuals and $200 for couples, and you’ll receive a superbill if you’d like to seek out-of-network reimbursement. More importantly, therapy is an investment in you: your relationships, your mental health, and your future. You don’t have to decide today—but when you’re ready, we’ll talk about what feels sustainable for you.
-
Not at all. Many people start therapy unsure of where to begin—that’s actually one of the most common reasons people come. Together, we’ll sort through what’s going on, identify what feels most important, and create a path forward. You don’t need a perfect “therapy plan”, just curiosity and a willingness to start.

The consultation call is simple and pressure-free. It’s a chance for us to talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, for you to ask me questions about how I work, and to see if we feel like a good fit. There’s no obligation to commit—you’re welcome to take your time deciding. Sometimes, the hardest part is making that first call, and that’s okay. We’ll take it one step at a time.
